Another beautiful hiking weekend for the Murray's! We had such fun hiking several different trails at a nearby Virginia State Park, Mason Neck. Some of the trails are really wooded, but others are along the beach with totally different flora. They also have a fun playground and an awesome new Visitor's Center with great exhibits and presentations about the wildlife.
Dan was adventurous and took the kids canoeing on the Potomac River (the boat was only for two, or three with a little Julia) and they had a terrific time. What a day!
