It wouldn't be a great summer without a few visits to the National Zoo. Julia's favorite is still the Small Mammal house because, as she says, "I am a small mammal, too!" The lions were really active when we went the other day and both female lions are due to have cubs in the next month.

Julia is striking a SERIOUS pose there! Glad you had a nice time. Lorelei starts school second week of Sept (!!!)--am curious about Ryan and Julia's school schedule!
Ah! Ryan looks so much like Dan in these photos! It was wonderful to spend time with you all. Can't wait til next year!
