Julia's Birthday Eve

Julia took her "Birthday Snack" of flower shaped Jello Jigglers today to school, and took this cute picture with her teachers, Mrs. Ingegneri and Mrs. Barth. Unfortunately the day ended in tears when her teachers made her a crown and card that said "I'm 4!" and apparently insisted that Julia was turning four! When I picked her up she was crying, "Tell them I'm TWO, and tomorrow I'll be THREE!" The teachers were shocked that they were wrong, and today (Thursday) gave her a new "3" crown. Julia was not consoled by the fact that they just couldn't believe that she was nearly a year younger than many of her classmates. I'm sure when she's a teenager and wants to be considered older than her age we can tell her this story for a laugh.
